Not much about the history of Indonesian coffee I could find in cyberspace. Since yesterday I've got coffee from Lampung souvenirs from Lowo, I have no idea to make a post about coffee Lampung. But the matter of Lampung coffee-mengulasnya was not much.

From wikipedia I learned that coffee was introduced in Indonesia by the Dutch government. Coffee was originally planted around Batavia (Jakarta), Sukabumi and Bogor before spreading to the entire island of Java, Sumatra and Sulawesi.

At the beginning of the 20th century coffee plantations in Indonesia infestations, which nearly destroyed the entire crop of coffee. At that time the coffee is also grown in Timor and Flores. Both the island at that time under the Portuguese rule. Types of coffee grown there also is Arabica coffee. This coffee is not attacked by pests.

Robusta coffee is usually grown in low areas, while arabica coffee grown in the highlands.

Return of Lampung coffee gift Lowo. Frankly, I am not a connoisseur of black coffee without sugar. But this time I ventured to try it without sugar to find out the original taste of coffee Lampung.

Lampung coffee color is dark black with a strong bitter flavor as well as a rather sharp acid. For coffee lovers are looking for a sense of bitterness khan?

But finally I mix sugar for coffee because it has not lampung this can become a true connoisseur of a cup of black coffee. There are a few tips to find the good taste to mix the sugar in a coffee. Last added sugar when the coffee is brewed. Enter one teaspoon first and if kurangtambahkan little by little until you find the sweet portion of the fitting.
